By way of PVRBlog, it looks like Tivo is too busy adding “features” like overlaying ads over commericals to add real actual features that benefit customers like TivoToGo for the Mac. The Daily Pennsylvanian has a quote from Tivo’s CFO David Courtney:

We haven’t committed to any plans [for integration] to it because of the cost,” Courtney said.

He added that being able to watch media on Apple computers using TiVo seems unlikely “unless we find a way to record it under the current platform, and I don’t think that will happen in the next few years.”

TivoToGo looked pretty crappy anyway. But Tivo has been saying that TivoToGo for the Mac was coming any day. Now they not only suck for spending their time and R&D money on stupid features customers don’t want, but they are also liars.
