I am in the middle of upgrading the hard drive and OS on the server. All the Wiretap episodes should now be copied over. Thanks. -jared
Comment by jared 02.25.06 @ 2:59 pmThank you for the Wiretap archive. I too asked CBC some time ago if they had archived episodes… hopefully someday (until then, please don’t stop!)
Comment by Heather 02.26.06 @ 9:01 pmThis archive is the miracle of miracles. Jonathan Goldstein is my favourite radio personality and without this archive so much of his genius would be unavailable to me. Please continue the lord’s work, and keep posting the episodes. Thanks again.
Comment by Jonathan 03.05.06 @ 1:07 pmThank you so much for making these available. Is there anything for March 3rd/5th?
Thanks,
U
Comment by U 03.06.06 @ 7:11 pmHi, yes, thanks Jared for posting these, it’s been a great service. I was just wondering if anyone out there had found a copy of Rob Cordry’s (daily show) reading of Goldstein’s “superman” story that was broadcast on the show, or at least, on the cbc sometime in December. I would be forever grateful if anyone has a bead on that version of the story. Brilliant stuff. Adios!
Comment by luke 03.06.06 @ 8:10 pm“U”, this past weeks episode was a re-run of Life Lessons which I posted a while back here.
Luke, I think i may have the Rob Cordry reading “Superman” kicking around somewhere, however, I was recording the web stream at the time and it got cut off. I don’t remember how much was missing. I’ll post it if I can find it.

Comment by jared 03.07.06 @ 12:42 amLet me be the first to second Luke’s comment. Rob Cordry’s readiing of Superman was fantastic. I would LOVE to hear it again. I did find a version of Jonathan Goldstein reading it on an episode of This American Life called “How to Win Friends and Influence People” (there are a ton of past shows available at the show’s website in streaming format and downloadable from audible.com). Still, I really enjoyed Cordry’s reading in front of a live audience. Fans of wiretap should really check out This American Life, a public radio show from the states. Jonathan Goldstein was a contributor and writer.
I must add my voice to the chorus of Thank you’s Jared. Your unofficial Wiretap archive is wonderful. I have stumbled across the show on the radio and everytime I have been startled by the originality and freshness of the show. I am thrilled to pick up on the epidsodes I have missed and now, I record it myself each week.
Thanks.
Comment by Craig 03.08.06 @ 11:30 amHi Jared,
Thank you tons once again. It’s terrible to miss this great show and your site is a life-saver. There’s an old one I’m looking for, orginally from August, 2004(?), called something like “The Messiah of 1983″. Any leads?
Best Regards,
Uri
Comment by Uri 03.09.06 @ 12:59 pmNow allow me to be the echo that shouts back “Thank the zombie Jesus for Jared’s selfless efforts and perseverance with this project!” You’ve made me one happy camper.
I realize that I am the 3rd person to mention it, but having a copy of “Man not Superman” read by Corddry would be nothing short of fantabulous.
Keep on keepin’ on.

All your Wiretap recordings seem to have vanished from your website.
Hope it’s just a temporary thing!
