I built a light box this weekend out of PVC. Similar to this one. I spent some of today experimenting with the set up. The right combination of shutter speed, aperture, lighting, and white balance are deceptively tricky. I still don’t quite have it right. But it was a good way to spend a rainy Sunday.

Hey Jared, it’s me, in Beijing. I really just wanted to let you know that your blog is not blocked in China, but mine is. Is that fair? I think not. Congrats on passing the censors.
I’ll be home soon. Having a ball. Glad you enjoyed the marathon, but if you really want to have your faith in humanity restored, you should come to Inner Mongolia. Boy, people are just lovely here!
Ok, now you leave me a post. I mean, I’m overseas and everything. At least I should get an A for effort.
